We are a people-driven firm, and our culture is rooted in doing what’s right for clients and colleagues. The strong bonds and enduring relationships we build make RBC Wealth Management the place where people want to stay.

Following a career in professional hockey, it’s no wonder Tom Sagissor, president of RBC Wealth Management–U.S., leads with energy and passion—and motivates those around him to give their absolute best.

Tom plays a critical role in preserving the firm’s strong culture and accelerating its growth as a leading provider of wealth management and banking services to entrepreneurs, professionals and families throughout the United States. He leads the day-to-day operations of the firm’s Private Client Group, comprised of nearly 2,000 advisors in 42 states.

In March 1994, Tom joined Dain Bosworth (a predecessor of RBC Wealth Management–U.S.) as a financial advisor. Applying the lessons he learned on the ice about teamwork, Tom quickly moved up the ranks to become a leader in the organization—first as an assistant branch director in Minneapolis, then as complex director in Milwaukee, then divisional director and now president.

He serves on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Twin Cities, the Herb Brooks Foundation and the Bob Suter Memorial Fund "It's All About The Kids.”

Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison (UW) and is very active with the UW Badger athletic foundation and alumni group. He was a member of the 1990 national championship UW Badger hockey team.

Tom is married and has four children. He's an active member of his local community and a strong supporter of his city’s high school sports programs.
